These beautifully intricate and perfectly miniature houses are made by local artist (and Lime Tree Design team member!) Cathy Funchall.
Made from Earthenware clay, they are shaped by hand, textures pressed using a mix of stamps, vintage buttons, and even little treasures from nature—like acorn cups—to give every piece its own unique personality. After their first bisque firing, they are brought to life with underglaze colours to enhance the detail. Then they’re coated in coloured and clear glazes and fired again, emerging with a glossy, vibrant finish. For the final touch, delicate gold and platinum lustre highlights are added and after one last firing, a few are even decorated with repurposed glass beads and charms - because even the smallest houses deserve a little sparkle!
Each whimsical miniature house is completely unique and priced according to size and detail of the individual piece.
Standard UK delivery is free for orders over £35. Delivery for orders under £35 is £4.80.
Please note orders in the UK with matches, there is a small courier charge of £5 due to the nature of the product.
Express next day UK delivery is £7.65. The cut off for next day delivery orders is 12 noon.
USA courier 3 day service is £23.50. USA Please note from 29th August ALL orders, regardless of size are subject to USA import duties. To ensure a smooth delivery we will collect USA tariffs at the checkout (it is shown as a separate line) and we will ship Duty Paid so you do not have to pay anything further. Please be aware there may be delays during this transition.
Canada and Australia is £50 courier.
Please note that customers are responsible for any duty and taxes that may be due in the delivery country. We reserve the right to change delivery carrier depending on service levels.
UK Orders are dispatched using Royal Mail the same or next working day after ordering. We will contact you if the item you have ordered is not in stock and arrange a later delivery date or a cancellation and refund.
If you are not entirely happy with your order you can return it to us, in its original condition and packaging within 30 days of receiving it. Please use a recorded delivery service and send it to our address that can be found on our Contact page. Unfortunately we cannot accept the return of engraved jewellery or any earrings, unless they are faulty, in which case return postage cost will also be refunded.
